The Ajman University of Science and Technology has approved the executive law of its Board of Trustees which includes the establishment of an executive committee affiliated with the Board of Trustees to discharge its missions in the period between its periodic meetings.
This came when H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman and Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees, presided over the meeting of the University's Board of Trustees.
Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and other members attended the meeting.
The Board approved the proposed basic organisational structure of the university. It also endorsed granting the academic degrees for 380 graduates from the first semester of the academic year 2015-2016.
The Board of Trustees also approved a proposal presented by the university administration to organise two graduation ceremonies in one year. They also approved other issues on the agenda.
Meanwhile, the Ajman Ruler, in his keynote, praised the role played by the Board of Trustees of the university to develop and upgrade its strategic plans as well as to highlight its societal role.
