The Capital Governorate’s Acting Governor, Hassan Abdullah Al Madani, has visited Al-Daih Youth Centre to review its summertime activities and programmes held under the patronage of the Capital’s Governor Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa.
Mohammed Al-Moulani the Chairman of Al-Daih Youth Centre received Al Madani and briefed him about the Centre’s activities and programmes.
Al Madani stressed the Governorate’s continuous support to youth development programmes aimed to develop the society. He praised the supervisory committee and commended the useful programme activities including entertainment, educational, cultural, technical and mental skills development.
The programme includes skills training on how to shoulder responsibility and social contribution, as part of the governorate’s role in promoting the concept of community partnership to boost the development of the whole community as well as individuals. The programme helps to discover student talents, teach them how to avail from their leisure time during the summer holidays and protect them from the impact of negative idleness.
