Career Step, a leading online school, has launched a new initiative offering students an iPad complete with an electronic textbook library when they enroll in a qualifying training program by May 31. "At Career Step we're committed to providing students flexible training options that make furthering their education a possibility even when their individual situations don't allow for a traditional education model," said Ryan Ewer, Career Step Vice President of Enrollments. "With the new iPad and textbook library, we're giving students even more flexibility by making their books much more mobile and accessible." Students who enroll in a Medical Transcription, Medical Coding and Billing, Pharmacy Technician, or Computer Technician training program throughout the month of May can choose to receive the free iPad and electronic textbooks with their enrollment. If students opt out of including the iPad with their enrollment, they can take up to $300 off their tuition instead. Upon receiving their iPad, students will be sent detailed instructions on how to download the electronic textbooks. Career Step training programs are offered entirely online, allowing students to train on their own schedules and at a pace that fits their individual needs. This online format works particularly well for non-traditional students interested in quickly training for a new career while working, caring for family members, or fulfilling other responsibilities that prevent them from attending scheduled classes.
