Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Educational Fund HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa has congratulated the second batch of students who obtained scholarship for the new academic year 2014-2015.
This came as he chaired at the Isa Cultural Centre today the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Fund.
He wished the scholarship winners every success, affirming that they will provided with all kinds of care and academic support by the relevant sides in order to be able to continue their studies and serve the nation, under its leadership.
The scholarship recipients expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Fund, lauding His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's issuance of the Royal Order to establish it in order to serve students and help them pursue their studies.
The panel also discussed a number of issues on its agenda, including its work plan for the coming period.
Board members extended sincere thanks and gratitude to HM the King for his kind gesture to allocate a special investment land lot for the fund in order to enable it to increase its revenue, which will reflect positively on the students and the services provided for them.
The panel reviewed its annual report highlighting its achievements and services.
The Fund's Secretary-General Dr. Muna Al Balooshi presented to the session a report on the second batch of students, including twenty beneficiaries specialised in medical, engineering, legal and media disciplines, among others.
