Secondary school student Mariam Malak - who got "zero" in her last year at school - filed an appeal with the prosecutor general's office to investigate her case.
On Sunday, Acting Prosecutor-General Ali Omran decided to shelve investigations in the case after the forgery department at the forensic medical authority checked the answer papers of the two students of Thanaweya Amma Mariam Malak and Radwa Ali. The forgery department said that all the answers in the exam papers of the two students were written by them.
Earlier, the two students lodged a complaint, after saying that there was manipulation of their examination papers and this resulted in getting low marks.
