Owing to Kuwait's instrumental role in promoting education and establishing developmental projects across Albania, a school named after the State of Kuwait is to be built in Gjepalaj municipality in the western Durres District of Albania.
Kuwaiti Ambassador to Albania Najeeb Al-Bader and president of the municipality have signed, Friday, an agreement of USD 335,000 to fund and build "the State of Kuwait" school.
Al-Bader told KUNA that building the school reflects Kuwait's interest in developing the educational infrastructure of Albania as part of the Gulf country's plan to boost bilateral cooperation in all domains, especially the cultural side
