Sheikh Thani Bin Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian Services (RAF) has carried out a financial project to support needy girl students in the various governorates of Kosovo as part of its projects in Europe.
The project, implemented by RAF in cooperation with the New Vision Society in Kosovo, started with 26 girl students from the University of Pristina, as part of a number of diversified projects to cover student expenses especially for education. Cost of financial support of each student per year is estimated at QAR 4000.
In a statement released here today, Ahmed Rashid Al Suwaidi, Director of international projects and programs department said that RAF is seeking to raise and upgrade female students' skills, to support poor families and boost sustainable development in Kosovo.
He called on benefactors to contribute to such charitable projects through providing a financial support to girl student to complete their university studies at home.
