HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met Friday with Qatari students and trainees on secondment to Japan at his residence in the city of Tokyo this evening.
At the outset of the audience, HH the Emir welcomed the students and trainees wishing them success in seeking knowledge to serve their community and homeland, underlining the importance of taking advantage of the opportunities made available by the secondment and expatriation for the sake of knowledge in enhancing their capacities and skills, in addition to their importance for extending and strengthening the bridges of relations and cultural exchange that render them the best ambassadors of their countries and the opportunities they provide for gaining knowledge and experience.
For their part, the students and trainees expressed deep thanks and appreciation to HH the Emir for the opportunity HH provided to them to meet him saying it provides a positive incentive and a moral support to them in order to increase their gaining of knowledge and benefit from the expatriation experience for education which benefits their country.
