Qatar's Ambassador to the US HE Mohammed Jaham Kuwari has delivered a speech at the 43rd Annual International Convention (Rainbow PUSH) for humanitarian action which seeks to promote education and support issues of empowerment and equality, headed by Jesse Jackson , former member of the US House of Representatives.
HE ambassador Al Kuwari highlighted various initiatives adopted by the State of Qatar in the fields of education, youth participation, empowerment of women, culture, stressing that these areas are appropriate for opening channels of cooperation with Rainbow PUSH Coalition which focuses on the important values supported by the State of Qatar.
"It's on top of national priorities to ensure access to education", HE the Ambassador noted, stressing that Qatar is seeking to gain access to new educational models that can adapt to the information era of globalization in the economic, social, and political domains .
He referred to the establishment of Education City in Doha, which he said would change the ways of global investment in the field of education through the creation of a huge complex on an area of 2500 hectares, comprises 11 global university.
Rainbow/PUSH is a non-profit organization formed as a merger of two non-profit organizations founded by Jesse Jackson Operation PUSH (People United to Save Humanity) and the National Rainbow Coalition. The organizations pursue social justice, civil rights and political activism.
