Law Professor Mona Zulfaqar underlined the importance of reaching a clear vision regarding institutional reform and making the justice system more efficient as this would reflect on investment reform in Egypt.
During a conference organized here on Tuesday by Akhbar el-Youm al-Iqtisadi (economic) newspaper, Zulfaqar said the judicial system in Egypt has some flaws and the investors and citizens should have guarantees to obtain their rights by law.
Supervising reform should be carried out by very competent bodies and the government should study the banking system reform plan and try to apply it to the government body, she said, citing the success of the Egyptian Central Bank reform experiment in this respect.
