Deputy Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister Essam Khamis will lead a delegation to the Egyptian-American committee for science and technology, to take place in Washington.
The committee will endorse research projects that were agreed upon by the two sides during the previous session of the committee, said Khamis.
During their week-long stay in Washington, the delegation will visit a number of universities, a science valley, the National Cancer Institute as well as the 1776 Center, a global incubator and seed fund helping startups transform industries that impact millions of lives every day.
The visit aims at boosting scientific cooperation between Egypt and the US.
