At the start of the academic year in the Netherlands, several Dutch universities paid attention to the MH17 disaster, local media reported on Saturday.
Tilburg Universtity, which lost Professor Willem Witteveen in the MH17 flight disaster on July 17 in eastern Ukraine, starts a master course named Policy and Management, which begins with the reflection on the plane crash that killed 298 people.
Before the start of the academic year, the University of Amsterdam (UvA) also paid respect to the victims.
UvA in particular looks at the death of AIDS researcher Joep Lange and his partner Jacqueline van Tongeren, who were also on board the plane on their way to an AIDS conference in Australia.
