At a secondary high school in Voorburg, the Netherlands, a 15-year-old student was stabbed to death, probably by a fellow student (16) on Friday, Dutch police stated.
The victim is from The Hague, while the suspected perpetrator was from Rijswijk. The victim was stabbed during a lunch break at the schoolyard of the Corbulo College in Voorburg, in the Dutch province South-Holland.
The emergency notification service received a call that someone had been stabbed in the school and that the alleged offender had fled.
According to eyewitnesses, the suspected perpetrator was overtaken by other students. A short time later he was arrested by the police.
The rescuers tried to resuscitate the boy, but didn't succeed. He died on the spot.
