The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) will offer Masters' Degree scholarships for Kuwaiti students to pursue their education in business, finance, accounting and management, said Governor of CBK Dr. Mohammad Al Hashel here Saturday.
Al-Hashel told KUNA that the CBK, in cooperation with the Institute of Banking Studies and several banks, have provided this offering as a step to support students seeking higher degrees.
A CBK committee will look into applications and will choose students according to their credentials, said the official, adding that the scholarship graduates will not necessary have to work within the banking sector after completing their studies, however, they have full freedom to further seek education or work in any public or private sector entity.
