Documents seized by Seal Team Six from the compound of Osama bin Laden will be used in the trial of a British-based student accused of plotting a terrorist attack in Manchester, The Times reported.
Abid Naseer, 28, who is originally from Pakistan, has been portrayed by US prosecutors as “one tentacle of an international plot that reached to New York, Norway and the UK”.
He was extradited from Britain at the beginning of 2013 and faces trial in a court in Brooklyn for “providing and conspiring to provide material support to al-Qaeda” as well as for “conspiracy to use a destructive device in the UK.
