Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Educational and Charity Fund HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa said that application for the third batch of the Fund’s scholarships will be open as from Sunday, July 26, 2015, calling on students wishing to obtain the scholarship to submit their applications at Education Ministry’s auditorium (Building N’1).
He explained that scholarships for this year will be allocated to bachelor’s degree studies in public and private universities in the Kingdom of Bahrain, noting that winners will be announced in August, 2015.
Secretary-General of the Isa bin Salman Educational and Charity Fund Dr. Muna Mohammed Al-Balushi said that nomination will be open for secondary school graduates with at least 80% cumulative average.
Applicants should also meet the Fund’s eligibility criteria, she said, explaining that they should be Bahraini students who have not obtained the General Certificate of Secondary Education for more than two years and passed the admission requirements to the university and the personal interview successfully.
Applicants should report to the secretary-general’s office at the Education Ministry’s hall in Isa Town from July 26 to 30 from 09:00 am to 02:00 pm.
The Isa bin Salman Educational and Charity Fund, bearing the name of the late Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, was established as per a Royal Order in 2013 to enable needy university students to pursue their studies.
