The Secretary General of the Association of Arab Universities Sultan Abu-Orabi, Wednesday discussed with the Australian Ambassador in Jordan Heidi Venamore ways to boost academic and scientific cooperation with Australian universities.
The talks dealt with increasing the number of Jordanian students in Australia, as well as coordinating between Arab and Australian universities in order to implement an exchange program for university staff and students and to establish joint activities.
Abu-Orabi briefed the ambassador about the founding of the association and its activities and programs carried out regionally and internationally.
Abu- Orabi also met with the Cultural Counselor of the Cultural Attaché of the Bahrain Embassy in Jordan, Ghada Al. Mehza, and briefed her on the joint cooperation between the association and the Arab universities.
