Cairo Governor Galal Moustafa Saed underlined that many schools will enter service by the beginning of the new academic year.
This comes in the framework of the governorate's strategy to expand in building educational establishments and developing schools especially in the over-populated suburbs, he said.
As many as 15 new schools with a total cost of 63 million pounds will enter service. Eight schools with total cost of 46 million pounds are to be built, Saed noted.
Sixty-nine schools are maintained with a total cost of 38 million pounds.
Developing the educational process is not limited to building schools, but it also depends on upgrading the skills of teachers and providing the schools with modern educational tools, the governor reiterated.
