The sixth edition of the Schools Olympic Program (SOP) under the theme ” Sport and Investment” begins today at Qatar Tennis Federation Court. 9450 students (boys and girls) are expected to participate in the volleyball, basketball, football, handball, athletics and tennis competitions to be held in the fourth week. According to the SOP program, the tennis competitions will begin on Monday at the courts of the Qatar Tennis Federation with participation of 130 students while the athletics competitions will start at Al-Rayyan Park with participation of 250 students. The volleyball matches for boys secondary schools will be held at the indoor hall of Al-Wakrah SC . In another scene, the basketball competitions for girls primary Schools will be resumed on Monday at the indoor halls of Lebaib School, Qatar Girls Secondary School, Qatar Girls Primary School, Amna Mahmoud Al-Jaidah School, Al-Wakrah School, Mozah bin Mohammad School, Al-Esraa School, Qatar Primary School, Asmaa bin Abi Bakr School, and Al-Refaa Girls Primary School. The basketball competitions of the fourth week will feature the participation of 940 students.
