As part of the "Police Friends" Programme, which is organized by Al Ain Police Officers' Club for the officers' children, students visited a number of the touristic and heritage landmarks across Al Ain city. The visit included the Al Ain Zoo and the Al Ain Museum, and aims to increase students' tourism culture and acquaint them with the various landmarks of the country. The students enjoyed the visit to the Al Ain Zoo where they learned about the means to take care of animals, especially endangered species. They were also acquainted with the services provided to the public at the zoo and the various events that are held daily to entertain visitors. Students were also given traffic awareness tips, such as traffic rules and regulations, the dangers of reckless driving, as well as the efforts exerted to protect motorists. During their visit to the Traffic Institute, they were briefed on the tools used in traffic patrols.
