The Ministry of Education and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) on Tuesday inked an agreement under which the ministry will provide a second school, to be opened soon in the Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees, with academic staff. Director of Media and Communication of UNICEF, Samir Badran, said the school is in its final stages and will be inaugurated next week, noting that it has been fully equipped and it needs a teaching staff of approximately 72 teachers. Badran pointed out that overcrowding in classrooms is one of the most important reasons for resorting to building a new school because of the increase in the number of Syrian refugees.
