An overview of the inspection results of Indian and Pakistani schools is due to be announced by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) on Monday morning. The schools have now completed three years of inspections. Out of the 21 Indian curriculum schools inspected during this cycle, two schools had an outstanding rating. As Gulf News reported earlier, the two Indian schools rated outstanding for the first time are the Indian High School, Dubai, and the Modern High School. Indian curriculum schools serve about 60,565 pupils, accounting for 28 per cent of the student population in private schools in Dubai. Three schools offer Pakistani curriculum in the city, serving 3,211 pupils. Last year, of the 21 Indian schools inspected, 11 were rated good, 7 as acceptable and 3 as unsatisfactory. All of the 3 Pakistani schools were rated unsatisfactory last year.
