A delegation from the General Organization for Youth and Sports (Goys) Youth Affairs Directorate made a number of field visits to several schools across the kingdom. The visits were part of Goys efforts to develop the abilities of young students by identifying the youth programs that enrich work and elevate the movement of youth in Bahrain. They were based on the communication with students from different schools to hear their suggestions about the Goys programs and how to develop them from their point of view, which is from the organisation keenness to give the youth the opportunity to have an active role in the community.In this regard, director of Youth Affairs at the General Organization for Youth and Sports Iman Janahi noted the importance of supporting these proposals submitted by the students to identify their views and ideas that enrich work within the programs and the develop their outputs. She added that Goys has made various visits to schools from different provinces in the Kingdom, where the volunteering students made presentations about the goals of the Youth Affairs Directorate and its role in the containment of the youngsters. This is being done through programs offered to them that support the Kingdom's development strategy, and introduce them to what is included on the agenda of programs and events of interest to this age group.Janahi said the students will be divided into working groups, assisted by a supervisors from Goys in order to propose bouquets programs that meet their aspirations. Each group then review proposed by the targeted programs and offer perceptions that support the success of the program. The paper work will then be kept and will be used to help in setting up the programs and events, besides writing the final report on each school, and the most important proposals that have been submitted. These proposals will be submitted by the directorate to Goys resident Hisham Mohammed Al Jowder to look into it and take necessary actions.In conclusion, Janahi thanked all those who contributed to the success of the schools activities and for their cooperation and allowing Goys to meet the students and identify their needs closely./ She stressed that the organisation will always seek to meet youngsters in different locations and of different ages and give them the opportunity for creativity in any field.
