The UAE's Twitter community has come together to help find missing Emirati youth, Yousuf Al Otoubi, 22, who was last seen at the American University in the Emirates (AUE) on Sunday, February 19. Al Otoubi's family has confirmed he is missing and that they have filed a missing person's report with the Dubai police. Al Otoubi's older brother Jamal, who goes by the twitter handle @JMusabih, posted pictures of Yousuf's car in the early hours of this morning on the social networking site. The post was also accompanied by his personal mobile number, appealing for anyone to contact him with his brother's whereabouts. Jamal, the oldest brother of six confirmed he last saw or heard from his brother a week ago as Yousuf was leaving the family home. He also left his mobile phone in the house. "He's just a very shy and quiet person but he is loved by everyone and everyone knows him," said Jamal. "There is no logic behind this, none at all." Jamal confirmed Dubai's Road and Transport Authority (RTA) has tracked the tag in his brother's blue, Toyota FJ Cruiser, traveling in the direction towards Abu Dhabi sometime last Sunday. However, no further information has been obtained. The family is coordinating with the authorities to help find the youth, however, the social media efforts of close friends, acquaintances and family are helping spread the word. Gulf News contacted Dr Muthana Abdul Razzaq, President of AUE, who had been alerted to the matter via a Facebook post on the university's fan page. He could not however, confirm he was a student at AUE. Al Otoubi's brother confirmed, Yousuf is in fact a second year human resource management undergraduate student at AUE.
