A group of more than 40 primary teachers from Independent Schools, who participated in the inaugural Qatar University ExxonMobil Teachers Academy to enhance math and science education, were honoured at a gala dinner last week. QU President Dr Sheikha al-Misnad, ExxonMobil Qatar president and general manager Bart Cahir, US embassy charge d’affaires Mirembe Nantongo, Social Development Centre general manager Amal al-Mannai and representatives from Qatar Foundation, Injaz, and Al-Fursan Centre were present on the occasion.
