Actress Willow Shields and her professional partner Mark Ballas were eliminated from Season 20 of Dancing with the Stars in Los Angeles Monday night.
Shields was too emotional to speak after learning their fate, so Ballas took the lead.
"I just want to, first of all, say a big thank you to Willow for being the most incredible partner," Ballas said. "I think she has shown incredible improvement from Day 1, taking risks. She's only 14, guys. She's out there dancing, keeping up with everybody. Thank you, again. It's been a hell of a ride. I couldn't be more proud."
DWTS co-host Tom Bergeron then hugged Shields, who smiled through her tears.
Still in the running for the coveted mirror-ball trophy, along with their partners, are Noah Galloway, Robert Herjavec, Nastia Liukin, Riker Lynch, Chris Soules and Rumer Willis.
