A new pan-Arab satellite channel known as Alarab News Channel was launched on Sunday and began transmission its 24-hour programs from its headquarters in Bahrain.
The channel, which is backed by Saudi billionaire and royal family member Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, presents mainly economic and political news, especially as it made a deal with Bloomberg channel in this regard.
The channel presents neutral news, programs that concern primarily Arabs and varied talk shows.
The channel had vowed in previous press statements that it would deliver the news objectively and accurately and provide news bulletins through its extensive network of correspondents and offices around the world.
