Discovery Familia gears up for Mother's Day

Discovery Familia, the only Spanish-language network dedicated to Hispanic moms in the United States, will celebrate Mother's Day in that country with a special series of original shorts, "What I Learned From Mom." The spots showcase kids of all ages expressing how their moms inspired them and what they mean to them. The spots will also be able to be viewed online at www.discoveryfamilia.com, along with a holiday-focused blog by Jeannette Torres Alvarez, the official ambassador for the network. Also, on its Facebook page, the channel is launching "May is for Mom," a contest with to win different beauty treatments, and a final grand prize of a trip for two to any city in the United States.
