Indian channels Zee TV and Zee Cinema will now be available in high definition (HD) for viewers in the UAE who subscribe to Etisalat's Internet protocol television (IPTV) service, eLife. "With growing consumer demand for the richer, more immersive experience of HD, Zee viewers in the UAE will now have access to the new HD channels with high quality content all in crystal clear sound and stunning picture quality," said Mukund Cairae, Zee TV's territory head for the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan. Zee TV HD's schedule includes popular HD-shot shows such as Dance India Dance, Zee Rishtey Awards and Zee Cine Awards. While Zee Cinema HD has a movie line up over the next few months which includes Don 2 (starring Shah Rukh Khan), Agneepath (Hritik Roshan), Agent Vinod (Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor), Desi Boyz (Akshay Kumar and John Abraham), Joker (Akshay Kumar and Sonkashi Sinha) and Barfee (Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra). Humaid Sahoo, chief executive of eVision at Etisalat said: "We are quite excited with the launch of these two Zee HD channels as high definition content is something eLife viewers greatly appreciate. Etisalat has established market leadership offering the highest number of HD channels in the region and we look forward to bringing our customers more channels with even more choice of premium content in HD." Zee TV HD and Zee Cinema HD are now available through subscription to the Zee Family HD package on eLife.
