Two suicide car bombers detonated booby-trapped cars near the country's state television headquarters on Sunday evening in Damascus, Syria's state news agency reported. Earlier, the pro-government Sama TV said the explosion interrupted an Al-Ekhbaria TV broadcast, one of a series of pro- government channels based in the main headquarters. However, the main television broadcast was unaffected. There are no reports of deaths or casualties. The attack was carried out hours after the Free Syrian Army ( FSA), armed rebels against the Syrian government, said they would barrage the capital Damascus with mortars if the Syrian government troops continue to impose a siege on rebel-held areas.
