A cross platform partnership has been agreed between Indian broadcaster NDTV and Wisden India, regional publisher of the much respected Cricketer's Almanack. A co-branded cricket application featuring a blend of statistics and video content is one of the planned developments, along with the promotion of long-term assets through TV programming, on-ground activities and digital properties. NDTV will also work alongside Wisden India to create the Indian edition of the prestigious Wisden Cricket Awards. "We look forward to this association with NDTV. This alliance between two great brands will result in the kind of exciting products that until today cricket fans could only imagine," said Anand S Krishnan, executive chairman of FidelisWorld and chairman of Wisden India. Vikram Chandra, group chief executive, NDTV added: "At NDTV we are always looking to push the envelope in regards to premium and credible content. This partnership with Wisden India will allow us to give our viewers innovative products, credible statistics and a complete picture of Indian and world cricket. We look forward to joint events, launches and other digital initiatives as a part of this partnership."
