Jordan and China on Wednesday signed an agreement of cooperation between the Jordan Radio and Television Corporation (JRTV) and the China Television Corporation (CTV). Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications, Minister of Culture and Government Spokesperson Samih Maaytah hailed the convention as a boost for bilateral cooperation especially in media fields. At a meeting with the Chinese delegation, headed by the CTV Vice-President, Maaytah said that Jordan is rapidly developing in the field of media investments, accompanied by a parallel development towards promoting the freedom of media, expressing the Jordanian willingness to provide the needed support for China. The delegates praised the two countries relations, voicing hope to get the needed help for the Chinese media office in Amman to transfer the real image of the Jordanian cultural, social and political reality for the Chinese people.
