Jennifer Garner imitated Ben Affleck for Jimmy Fallon Wednesday on The Tonight Show.
The 42-year-old actress did a hilariously bad impression of her husband to relate the time when she had lice and met George Clooney. Garner said she, Affleck and their children were at home and being treated for lice when the actor convinced her to attend a party.
"It was a day where I had been combed through [for lice]," she recalled. "I was keeping the kids happy... Ben had gone early and he'd showered and he came out and he said, 'Hey, um, there's a party, I wanna go, let's go.'"
"It's with love!" she qualified of her impression before continuing the story. "I said, 'I can't, I need to shower.' I mean, I'm in, like, cargo pants, and I'm nasty. And he's like, 'Come on, I mean, we have a babysitter, come with me. I want you to go with me!"
Garner eventually gave in once Affleck acted like she was being "high-maintenance." The couple went to the party despite her reluctance, and the first person they ran into was George Clooney. The actress could tell the star smelled her "sulfur and rosemary"-smelling lice shampoo, but said he was very polite.
Garner and Affleck have been together since 2004, and married in June 2005. The couple have three children together: 8-year-old daughter Violet Anne, 5-year-old daughter Serephina Rose and 2-year-old son Samuel. The actress will next appear in Dan Fogelman film Danny Collins, while Affleck is scheduled to star in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
