Japan and the United States gifted on Wednesday theYemeni TV channel some TV technical equipment for external coverage.During the handout ceremonies, Information Minister Ali al-Amrani expressedappreciation of the US and Japanese gift, pointing that the equipment would make aquantum leap in the channel's works. Japanese ambassador Katsu Yoshie Hayashi and US embassy chargé d'affaires KarenSasahara also delivered speeches, in which they expressed readiness to providemore support for media field to improve the its performance.They stressed their countries' willingness to stand by Yemen to ensure theimplementation of the national dialogue outcomes and the success of the transitionstage.
