H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, and H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, on Saturday officially launched the Yas TV, a new channel of Abu Dhabi TV network, and the first Emirati channel to be dedicated to live airing of endurance races and traditional sports for local and Arab viewership.
In a statement to Yas TV, H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed said that the launch of the new TV channel which coincides with the UAE President Endurance Cup is a good move that affirms that 2015 is the year of innovation based on excellence, challenge and development.
H.H. Sheikh Hazza stressed the need to have a professional TV channel specialised in airing traditional sports events. He also expressed his confidence that the new TV channel will have a bright future.
