U.S. television network CBS says it has developed a 3-hour, Saturday morning programming block targeted to 13- to 16-year-old viewers. The six, half-hour shows are to premiere Sept. 28. The new programs are "Lucky Dog," starring animal trainer Brandon McMillan; "Dr. Chris Pet Vet," starring Dr. Chris Brown, one of the world's busiest veterinarians; "Jamie Oliver's 15 Minute Meals"; "Recipe Rehab," with television host Evette Rios; "All in with Laila Ali"; and "Game Changers" with Kevin Frazier. "CBS is delighted to bring viewers this new educational and inspirational Saturday morning line-up in partnership with Litton," Angelica McDaniel, senior vice president of CBS Daytime, said in a statement Thursday. "Our hope is that these compelling shows and stories will teach and inspire our audience to make a greater commitment to themselves, their families and their communities."
