Meanwhile, Al-Watan stressed the importance of HH the Emir's African tour that will start in Ethiopia, noting the two countries' desire to start a new phase of cooperation and coordination to achieve their bilateral interests on one hand, and the interests of the region on the other hand, adding that this tour will open the doors of cooperation with the African continent.
For its part, Arrayah newspaper said in its editorial today that HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani's visits to a number of African countries gain importance from the Qatari-African strategic relations and the Qatari orientation towards creating political and economic partnerships with these major countries in the continent.
The paper said that the tour aims at holding talks with the leaders and senior officials of these countries on ways to enhance and develop bilateral relations, in addition to discussing a number of issues of mutual interest and signing agreements and Memorandums of Understanding in a number of fields.
