North Korea sent another warning to South Korea on Saturday over the cross-border spread of anti-Pyongyang leaflets by civic groups, which it claims is a graver provocation than military force.
"Any psychological warfare studded with deceits and blackmail could bring about more destructive results," said the North's main newspaper Rodong Sinmun. "The cross-border spread of leaflets is a more grave provocation than shooting and shelling."
Early this week, North Korea sent a protest letter to South Korea's presidential office demanding measures to stop the cross-border spread of anti-Pyongyang leaflets. It is an unusual move for the North to deliver messages directly to Cheong Wa Dae.
