"Polychromie" (polychromy) is the title of a new biannual thematic magazine which has just published in Constantine at the initiative of the national museum of arts and traditional cultural expressions.
In an interview to APS, the Museum Director, Chadia Benkhalfallah said that this publication is intended to be "a modest contribution to strengthening national science library."
"Polychromie" also aims to "meet the needs of academics and men of culture interested in the prehistoric and historic heritage of the ancient Cirta and the region," added the official.
The maiden issue of the 112-page magazine proposes the illustrations and photos of various and authentic pieces of the museum, Ottoman-era money coins and historical and pre-historical documents supported by beautiful images of Ahmed-Bey Palace or the museum building.
The magazine also discusses current topics summarizing key events and activities organized by the museum and presentations, studies, research work and various other academic contributions signed by leading researchers in history and prehistory.
