The first 'training of trainers' course concluded on Saturday at the Petra-based Training Center of the Federation of Arab News Agencies (FANA).
The course was organized by FANA in cooperation with the Thomson Reuters Foundation.
Journalists, media persons from news agencies, TV stations and newspapers from Jordan, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Morocco and Egypt, took part in the five-day course.
The training course aimed at providing the participants with the know-how in setting up workshops, courses, as well as mechanisms to develop and choose the right sort of coaching style.
At the end of the course, Petra's Assistant Director General for Technical and Administrative Affairs Suleiman Zahra granted certificates to the graduates.
