Parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal underlined that the House of Representatives respects the freedom of press but it will take all the measures guaranteed by law to protect state institutions including the legislative ones.
During the parliament's general session on Sunday, Abdel Aal said that he appreciates the freedom of expression which should be responsible.
He further reiterated: " We do not accept the threat by some people... this is a crime and we will take needed legal measures against this person".
These remarks came after MP Moustafa Bakry said that the house was exposed to insult by one of the people who said that he will enlist the members who approved of the agreement pertaining to the demarcation of the maritime borders between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
