A book titled (His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah: A Humanitarian Leader) was published by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Tuesday to commemorate the UN honoring of Kuwait's leader.
The four-chapter book, both in English and Arabic, focused on His Highness the Amir's career and achievements since he was Foreign Minister, Prime Minister, and finally the ruler of Kuwait.
The publication also touched on His Highness the Amir's 50 years of diplomacy as well as his roles in steering Kuwaiti humanitarian efforts to help the Syrian refugees as well as rebuild Iraq.
A section of the book also highlights Kuwait for Arab Economic Development's (KFAED) hand in global development and assistance to other nations.
Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah, KUNA Director General and Chairman Sheikh Mubarak Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah, as well as Chairman of the International Islamic Charity Organization (IICO) Dr. Abdullah Al-Ma'touq provide written contributions to the book.
