"The media role surpasses that of the military in ensuring better future for the coming generations," HH Sheikh Jaber told his guests. "The State of Kuwait and the Republic of Iraq have a lot in common in terms of religion and culture; so we have to work together to overcome the challenges of the past, and ensure better future and comprehensive development our two nations," he stressed. HH Sheikh Jaber said he looks forward to his coming visit to Iraq to exchange views with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki on a range of important issues and strengthen the bilateral ties in all fields. He voiced hope for opening new channels of cooperation between the private sectors of both countries, noting that such cooperation is the mainstay of economic development. On his part, IJS Chairman Mo'ayed Allami, head of the delegation, conveyed to HH Sheikh Jaber the greetings of Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki.
