Environment Minister Khalid Fahmy met on Wednesday with a delegation of African journalists.
Attending the meeting were 25 African journalists and 10 Egyptian reporters.
The meeting discussed a number of issues, atop of which is the Paris-hosted Climate Change Conference.
Fahmy expounded efforts exerted at the Paris conference to overcome challenges facing the African counties in the field of climate change.
The meeting tackled also a power initiative that aims at producing 10 GWs by 2020 and 300 GWs by 2030.
At the end of the meeting, the delegation members thanked the Egyptian minister for his efforts to solve African problems.
