General Manager of the national news agency Algerie Press Service (APS) Abdelhamid Kacha and his counterpart from the news agency of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRNA) signed Thursday in Tehran a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the two agencies.
The agreement, updating the one signed in Algiers in 2007, will allow exchanging information and new products induced by the evolution of the communication and information technologies, including video and computer graphics.
The memorandum, which provides for the regular exchange of experiences in the technical field and training of journalists, was signed on the sidelines of the 10th Conference of information ministers of the member countries of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation.
