The famous TV presenter Moataz Demerdash, said in a statement to Arabstoday:" I will present “Leabet Elhayat” (Game of Life) show next Ramadan. However, I was very upset about rumours saying that I received alot of money, and that I am an alternative for Razan Maghriby , the ex-presenter of the show. I denounce such rumours as I am going to present the show in a different way, and am not a substitute for anyone. The financial aspect is a private matter and no one has the right to discuss it. I earn money for my efforts and this programme requires huge efforts, will be broadcasted daily in Ramadan and will continue after Ramadan as well. As for the difference between the show and the political programme “Masr Elgdeda” (New Egypt), Demerdersh said: “ The two shows are different and I do not find any problem in presenting both types as long as I am able to". Reports have claimed that there are scam cases against the show. Moataz mentioned: "I repeat that the show will be entirely new. These claims are incorrect because Al Hayat TV has a great deal of trust, the show is very successful, so it is normal that there are people trying to attack the channel. Demerdash said that the cast of “Masr Elgdeda” has not decided yet whether to stop shooting the show in Ramadan or not, but will probably stop as the audiences tend to watch entertainment and quiz shows in Ramadan rather than political ones.
