Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that relations with Egypt are developing in the best interest of both countries.
Russia's Tass news agency said Putin greatly appreciated Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's participation in celebrations marking the 70th anniversary of Victory Day.
The news agency also pointed to big challenges facing Cairo and Moscow.
Putin said his country is willing to continue joint action with Egypt for the best interest of the two sides.
Russia Today also shed light on bilateral efforts and Sisi's participation in the celebrations.
Television channels, such as Russia 24, Russia 1, Russia Today and NTV, also aired reports on Sisi's visit and his meeting with Putin. They made it clear that Sisi was the first leader to meet with Putin.
Rossiyskaya Gazeta said Putin held one-on-one meetings with world leaders attending the celebrations, noting that Sisi was the first to get together with the Russian president.
