Russian media continued to highlight the visit of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to Russia which is due to start on Tuesday.
The Russian media said Duma Chairman Sergey Yevgenyevich Naryshkin will receive Sisi on Tuesday for talks on means of promoting parliamentary cooperation.
On Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin will receive Sisi, the media said.
During the visit, Sisi will discuss with Russian top officials means of establishing an Egyptian-Russian-UAE investment fund, reported RIA Novosti, quoting the head of the Egyptian commercial office Ali el Leithy.
The tripartite fund will bankroll two Cairo Metro lines, a Ein Sokhna-Helwan railway, a water desalination project and two logistic centers in Cairo suburbs.
Sisi will hold several meetings with senior Russian officials and businessmen to lure more Russian investments into Egypt.
Sisi seeks to expedite talks on establishing a free trade zone.
The volume of trade exchange between the two countries upped by 86 percent in 2014.
In 2015, Egyptian exports to Russia rose 22.5 percent to stand at 540 million dollars.
Russian investments in Egypt stands at 70 million dollars. Joint investments reached 9 million dollars.
