Head of Lebanese National Media Council Abdul-Hadi Mahfouz met Wednesday with Egyptian media attaché Sobhi Abdul-Basir on boosting cooperation.
After the meeting, Abdul-Basir said Egypt has begun the process of self-building, adding that Egypt is keen on the stability of the Arab region.
He underscored that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi urged media men and institutions to focus on subjectivity, neutrality, especially in matters concerning Egypt with foreign countries.
He highlighted the role of media in raising awareness among people, adding it could be a destructing factor and lose its credibility if it dos not abide by such norms.
