One of the world's foremost TV channels dedicated solely to car and motor enthusiasts has been launched in the Middle East and North Africa. Against the backdrop of the Dubai International Motor Show, Motorvision TV, the German automotive themed television channel was launched on Thursday on OSN. Motorvision TV will feature high quality, original content programming, in English language with some content sub-titled in Arabic. It will also be available in high definition. Motorvison TV covers the entire spectrum of the auto and mobility sector, featuring the latest car launches, road tests and car reviews from around the globe and locally. "The people in the UAE and in Germany share a passion: They love cars," said Jochen Krohne, CEO of Motorvision TV. "With this launch we aim to fuel their passion, by delivering original programming that is informative, entertaining and helpful. "Our goal is to ultimately increase our global footprint while transforming into a channel that attracts more than just 'petrol heads'." Motorvision's launch into the Middle East and Africa is part of an international roll-out of the channel in Europe and worldwide to strengthen the Motorvision brand. David Butorac, CEO of OSN, said: "Motoring entertainment programming is hugely popular in this region and the premium programming line-up in high definition on Motorvision TV will have a great traction with our OSN subscribers. Motorvision TV is an intelligent, entertaining channel - a perfect match for us."
